Doug Meyer started working in the car business at age nineteen in 1997, and a few years later, he convinced his brother, Brent, to enter the business. In 2004, his parents sold their trucking company to buy the family’s first dealership. The family now owns several dealerships in Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri.
Doug has also been involved in many organizations including the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, Optimist Club, M.A.Y. Mentoring, and the Shenandoah Chamber and Industry Association. He has been an officer in the Elks, on the board for M.A.Y. Mentoring, and a past President of the Shenandoah Chamber and Industry Association. Doug is also the founder of Toys for Girls & Boys. His Toys Program has given hundreds of less fortunate children gifts at Christmas.
Through his years in the car business, being involved in several organizations, and seeing what works and doesn't work in small town businesses, Doug has shared his secrets to success in Selling in Your Town.
